First Indian Meal & First Night Out

I am ashamed to say...I have been here for 5 days and last night was my first real Indian meal. The hotel had a traditional Indian feast set up outside. They had SO may choices, I didn't really know where to start. I ended up trying several different things, and loved everything. I definitely want to go back next time they offer it. They had a mehndi artist there as well, and a couple of my co-workers got some designs on their hands.


Last night was also the first night we ventured out of the hotel. It was a blast - we went to a bar called the 13th Floor which is an open-air bar on the top of a hotel. A girl that works at one of the restaurants at our hotel met Robin, Kelli, Karey and I there . Robin became good friends with her when she was here in Bangalore last time. Her name is Sayonee and she is a lot of fun. We had a really great time, and it was so nice to sit outside and experience something other than the office and the hotel room! Sayonee said that she would take us to some of her other favorite places around the hotel too.

The week is almost over and I can't wait for the weekend. We are heading to Mysore on Saturday which I'm looking forward to!
